License Information::
-- [a]: Nexus 7000
Starting with NX-OS Release 5.2, N7k requires Transport Services license, which includes both LISP and OTV.
Details on NX-OS licensing can be found [HERE]
License Information::
-- [a]: ISRG2
Starting with Release 15.2(2)T for ISR G2, the Cisco IOS universal is deployed, which contains all packages and
features in one image. For supported C800 Series Routers, the Advanced IP Services (advipservices) license is required
to support LISP. For supported C1900, C2900, and C3900 Series Routers, the Data license (datak9) is required. Prior to 15.2(2)T releases,
ISR G2 models run LISP without licensing.
* A "60-day" trial license is easily installed for testing/trials. For example:
Router(config)#license boot module c3900 technology-package securityk9
installs the trial license for a Cisco 3900 ISRG2. Details on licensing and the trial license can be found [HERE]
-- [b]: ISR
Starting with Release 15.2(2)T for ISR G1, the Advanced IP Services license is required to support LISP.
Prior to 15.2(2)T releases, ISR G1 models run LISP without licensing. Details on licensing and the trial license
can be found [HERE]
-- [c]: ASR1K
Starting with XE3.6.0S, ASR1K will be transitioning to the Right to Use (RTU) license model.
To run LISP, order the Advanced IP Services (SASR1R1-AISK9) or Advanced Enterprise Services (SASR1R1-AESK9) license.
Note that the AIS and AES licenses also include OTV. When the K9 option is included, GETVPN is also available.
For XE3.5.0S and earlier releases, LISP can be run without licensing. Details on IOS-XE licensing can be found [HERE]
